Happy Romance Awareness Month, everybody! Which romance novels have you been reading lately, and can I interest you in some Filipino-authored romances?
For this month’s #romanceclass Take Three Project, I asked readers and authors about the places in #romanceclass books that inspired them to dream of a great getaway someday soon. Check out their responses below–maybe you’ll find your next romantic adventure with these books, too!

Seems like it’s the season for wonderful romance anthologies, because here’s another one from six #romanceclass authors I look up to. Promdi Heart: Hometown Love Stories is a collection of short stories set in six different provinces in the Philippines–Misamis Occidental, Negros Occidental, Aklan, Bulacan, Ilocos Sur, and Zambales. I one-clicked this gem after its March 29 release (but I’ve not read it yet–I will get to it soon!) and I really think you should, too. I’ve seen a lot of people tweet positive thoughts about this book, and I feel like turning the book’s pages will take me on a lovely, lovely trip.

I think that by now, it’s no secret to anyone who knows me that I am a bit of a koreaboo. Just a bit now, because I’m nowhere near the fangirl I was several years ago, when Dong Bang Shin Ki were THE hottest boys on the block. (I still enjoy my Korean dramas every once in a while, but now I’m a little more choosy as to which ones I watch. So many things to do, so little time, after all.) So of course, when I saw that one of the characters in Chris Mariano’s Cover (Story) Girl was Korean, I knew I had to read it. It took me a while to get to it–the book had been sitting on my TBR pile for a good couple of months before I started reading it–but I did, and boy, I was so happy I did. ^_^
