New #romanceclass releases: Flipping the Script and Kiss and Cry!

Last Saturday, March 2, #romanceclass had a “double-feature” book launch for Danice Mae P. Sison’s Flipping the Script (#romanceclassFlicker #2) and Mina V. Esguerra’s Kiss and Cry (#Six32Central #2).

Instagram will load in the frontend.

As always, it was a fun morning day, filled with stories and good food (and tea, lots of it). I don’t know about you, but I like #romanceclass book launches. Apart from the fact that I like seeing our books being displayed and photographed in various venues, they’re always so casual and fun, and we usually play a lot of musical chairs — as in people transferring from one seat to another to socialize or simply to say hello.

For last Saturday’s launch, we were treated to brunch (braunch, anyone?) at Kanto Freestyle in Annapolis, Greenhills. There was Chocnut Champorado (yes, it’s A Thing!) and Pulled Beef Pares Nachos for everyone, while I ordered some Chili Garlic Longganisa and coffee for myself. In the middle of brunching and chatting, people bought books, asked for them to be signed, took pictures, and Instagrammed the day away. Very chill. ^_^

If you don’t already know, here’s what Flipping the Script and Kiss and Cry are about.

A #romanceclass experiment

First things first: Happy New Year, everybody! <3 Gosh–time flies so fast, doesn’t it? I hope everyone returned from their holiday vacations refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready for the year ahead.

So…fun fact: I had slacked off on writing early November.

(Except that’s not actually a ~fun fact, because it makes me uncomfortable that I was rather unproductive toward the year’s end, but that’s okay, I’ve already forgiven myself since I was able to churn out a couple thousand words AND finished That Thing I Was Supposed To Have Finished in October. HEYYYYYYY! <3)

Fun fact #2: I DID end up creating something else early December. With some really cool people you might already know.

What to expect at #romanceclass #FeelsFest2018

The third annual #romanceclass Feels Fest is coming THIS SATURDAY! Third!

As with other #romanceclass events, I am very excited for this year’s Feels Fest for many reasons. And of course I’m going to tell you about each one! I mean…what am I here for?

First of all, the details: This year’s Feels Fest is at the 3rd floor function hall of the Maybank Performing Arts Theater in Bonifacio Global City. It’s FREE admission, but if you’d like to pre-register, you may do so here.

We have a theme for this year’s event, which is #MCYourself2018. To those who don’t know yet, MC is an abbreviation for Main Character, and our theme is a reminder to everyone that they are and will always be the main characters of their own stories. Following this theme, we are encouraging guests to come as either their favorite fictional characters OR the best versions of themselves. If you’re attending, I hope you decide on dressing up. Just because it’s fun! And, well…you may win some prizes!

So what else is in store for you this Saturday? Here, have a look:
